TriCity
A local-first app shaped around the everyday needs of Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula. Built close to the people it is meant to serve.
Chandigarh · Mohali · Panchkula
Apps, city life, food habits, realty, people, and the questions hiding in plain sight. This is where I share what I am building—and what I am learning along the way.

Since 2019
A hospitality venture built from decades of experience—and a continuing lesson in food, service, teams, and human behaviour.

Experiments, apps, and practical ideas that begin with a real problem—not a polished pitch.
Experience, distilled
More than two decades across Hyatt, JW Marriott, Rotana, The Claridges, DLF, and entrepreneurship taught me something larger than hospitality: good ideas survive when people, systems, and judgment work together.
Build from zero
Launching new hotel concepts, DLF’s flagship Tricity clubhouse, and Nineteenth May meant turning an idea into the full operating backbone—teams, technology, procurement, service flow, training, and standards.
Lead at scale
At JW Marriott Chandigarh, I led a 90-member team across five venues and more than 20,000 square feet of banqueting. In the UAE, the work crossed properties, formats, and teams drawn from more than 20 nationalities.
Deliver under pressure
Diplomatic assignments, luxury weddings, corporate events, and demanding everyday operations reinforced one principle: preparation creates confidence, and leadership is most visible when something unexpected happens.
Become the builder
Since 2019, I have translated five-star discipline into an independent, multi-vertical business spanning dining, catering, events, bakery, and bar operations—without losing the warmth that makes hospitality human.
These chapters are not the boundary of what I discuss. They are the ground beneath how I think about teams, technology, cities, service, and building anything that must work in the real world.
Thinking in public
I am interested in the connections between how we live, what we build, what we eat, where we invest, and how our cities change. The subject may move. The point of view stays personal.
The lived truth of the TriCity—its opportunities, frictions, neighbourhoods, and future.
Beyond restaurants: how culture, routine, health, hospitality, and human behaviour meet at the table.
Clear observations about places, property, development, and the decisions people make around them.
Building from real needs, learning openly, and making technology feel useful rather than distant.
Teams, leadership, employee realities, entrepreneurship, and lessons earned the practical way.
Conversations
Podcasts, live sessions, and candid conversations with people who have something real to say. Less performance. More perspective.

My work has taught me to pay attention: to people, systems, habits, and the gap between how things look and how they actually work. I use this space to share projects in development, practical experience, and thoughts that do not belong to any one company.
This is a personal platform. Businesses may be part of the story, but they are not the boundary of the conversation.
